Direct current (DC) or alternating current (AC)?
To put it simply, our daily power transmission system uses alternating current (Alternating Current), because the loss is low, and the transmission cost is therefore low. As for electric vehicle charging, DC is generally classified as fast charging, and AC is classified as medium/slow charging.
Four EV charging standards
Since there was no uniform standard in the initial stage of the implementation of electric vehicles by car manufacturers in various countries, different countries have derived different standards. At present, there are four mainstream standards in Europe, North America, Mainland China and Japan.
